The brief

Our brief was to create a small, individual office building for the Harbour Master in a prominent position on the River Arun.

The development needed to fit seamlessly into a broader riverside redevelopment, including 25 new apartments. The redevelopment enabled an extension to the riverside walkway, encouraging improved access to and from the town centre and existing amenity areas.

The work

• The preparation of full working drawings and co-ordination of third-party information
• As the principal consultant, we attended team, planning and site meetings
• We coordinated with the local authority building control and the NHBC

The result

We created a unique, distinctive and prominent building for the Harbour Master that made a fine addition to the ongoing redevelopment around it.
